Mr. Tilghman, from a select committee, reported favorably
on the Senate bill entitled, an act for the establishment of a
public schools in Somerset county.

On motion of Mr. Tilghman,
The rules were suspended; and

Said bill was read the second and third times, and passed
by yeas and nays, as follow:

Further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.

The House took up for consideration the bill entitled, an
act to provide for the taking the census of the people upon
the expediency of calling a convention to frame a new con-
stitution and form of government for this State, and to pro-
vide for the election of delegates to such convention ;

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays,
as follow:
