The bill entitled, an act in aid of the benevolent objects of
the corporation in the City of Baltimore, created under the
act of Assembly of 1852, chapter 237, called "The Home of
the Friendless," by enabling them to have committed legally
to their care and control, the destitute children who are the
subjects of their charity;
