of the Peace and Constables in Kent county ;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Mineral Hill
Mining Company, of Maryland;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, a supplement to the act of 1856, chapter
77, allowing a pension to Joseph Benson, a private in the
War of the Revolution;

Was read the second time, and ordered to engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled, an act to incorporate certain persons as
trustees of the United Brethern in Christ Church in Carroll
county, to be called the Mt. Pleasant Church ;

Being upon its second reading.

Mr. Reindollar proposed the following amendment:

Section 1, instead of Shriner insert Shrider; instead of John
Ridner, insert John Ridenger and Peter Mark ;
Which was assented to.

The said bill as amended, was read the second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading ;

The bill entitled, an act amendatory of an act passed Janu-
ary session 1854, chapter one hundred and seventy-nine, en-
titled an act for the relief of Robert Wright and sureties,
former Collector of the first Collection District of Prince
George's county ;

The bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Monumental
Steam Towing Company of Baltimore;
