The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bills:

A bill entitled, an act for removing cases of condemnation
of real and personal estate;

Endorsed "passed by yeas and nays."
Which was read the first time, and referred to the commit-
tee on Judiciary.

A bill entitled, an act to pay John F. Wright a sum of mo-
ney for services rendered by him as doorkeeper to the Senate;

Endorsed "passed by yeas and nays;"

Which was read the first time, and referred to the commit-
tee on Claims.

The bill entitled, an act for the endowment of the Baltimore
Female College;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the day,
On motion of Mr. Kennard,

Said order, it being the bill entitled, an act to prohibit the
Courts of this State from issuing certificates of naturalization;

Was made the special order of the day for Wednesday, 24th
February.

Mr. Stirling moved to reconsider the vote by which the bill
entitled, an act to amend the act entitled, an act to establish
a House of Refuge for juvenile delinquents;

Which was determined in the affirmative,

And said bill was reconsidered to its second reading.

The bill entitled, an act to compensate James S. Franklin,
