So the Message was ordered to lie on the table.
Mr. Kidd offered the following order:

Ordered, that the House of Delegates of Maryland, by an act
of discourtesy unparalleled in the history of legislation, have re-
fused to have the message of the Executive read before the
House, after, by their own order, calling upon him through their
own appointed committee to make such communication.

Mr. Rogers moved that the said order lie upon the table, and
demanded the previous question.
