STATEMENT B.

Showing the total amounts received by the. Pilots' Associa-
tion from all sources, during the fourteen months eliding
February 1st, 1858.
Gross amount received from pilotage, - - $34,398 75

Incidental earnings,......2,127 75

From vessels for failure to renew their license, -          1,228 00

Fines from Pilots for failing or refusing to take their

turns on vessels, - - - - - -          180 00

$37,934 50

The above gives an average per month of $2,709 50, which,
divided among seventy-nine Pilots, the average number per
month who received dividends from the Pilots' Association, gives
the sum of $34 29 per month per man.

The above is exclusive of the amount received from licences,
