On motion of Mr. Day,

The rules were suspended, and leave was granted to the
committee on Agriculture, to introduce a bill regulating the
measurement of lime in the State of Maryland.

Mr. Thomas, from the committee on Pensions, reported fa-
vorably upon a bill entitled, an act allowing to Easter Wil-
liams, the widow of Henry Williams, a soldier of the Maryland
Line, during the Revolutionary war, and appropriating a sum
of money for the payment thereof;

Which was read the first time, and by. special order, the
