A bill from the Senate entitled an act for the pro-
tection of certain game in, 430; bill passed and re-
turned to the Senate, 936.

Petition from George Howard and twenty-two
other citizens of, for a bridge over Patapsco river, at
Woodstock, referred, 442.

A bill entitled an act to authorise and empower
the Primary School Commissioners of, to lay out and
establish a new school district in said county, 596;
passed and sent to the Senate, 596.

ing and distributing a general index to the acts and
resolutions of the General Assembly of Maryland,
from 1846 to 1858 inclusive, 607.

INSOLVENCY—The committee on, instructed to inquire into
the expediency of exempting from execution proper-
ly to the amount of three hundred dollars, 12.

Leave to bring in a bill supplementary to the act of
1854, chapter 193, relating to insolvent debtors, 201;
bill reported, 847; bill amended, passed and sent to
the Senate, 848.

INSPECTORS AND INSPECTIONS—Order adopted ap-
pointing a committee of five to enquire into the
manner in which the inspection laws of this State are
observed, with power to send for persons and papers
and report by bill or otherwise, 14.

Order adopted that the committee on inspections
inquire into the expediency of increasing the pay for
the costs of all tobacco inspected in the warehouses
of the State to $1 50 per cask, 15.

Order adopted to inquire into the expediency of
providing by law for the inspection of alcoholic
liquors and malt beverages, &c, 23.
