ALLEGANY COUNTY—

of the Circuit Court for said county, referred, 360 ;
leave to bring in a bill, 362; bill reported, 364;
bill passed, 698.

A bill from the Senate entitled an act to fix the per
diem rate to be paid by the Judges of the Orphans'
Court of, for the time they are in session, 431.

A bill entitled an act to release William Price and
others and also the coal and iron company, from the
claim of taxes, preferred in their State's bill in equity
filed in the Circuit Court for Allegany county, as a
Court of equity, 868; bill passed and sent to the
Senate, 869.

ANNAPOLIS AND ELK RIDGE RAIL ROAD—Order adop-
ted that the President and Directors of the, report
&c., 4l.

Order adopted that the Treasurer of Maryland be
requested to furnish the House with the amount of
bonds issued by the Annapolis and Elk Ridge Rail
Road Company, under the provisions of the act of
December session 1841, passed first of March, 1842,
what amount of said bonds have been redeemed and
which amount of money, if any, directed by said act
to be applied, &c, &c, 57.

A bill reported, entitled an additional supplement
to an an act concerning the Annapolis and Elk Ridge
Rail Road Company, passes at December session
1841, chapter 101, 233.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY—Petition of the citizens of, to
authorise the commissioners to increase the school tax,
referred, 22.

Petition from citizens of, praying for the passage

           of a law, to authorise an additional school tax in

said county, referred, 30; leave to bring in a bill,

134; bill reported, 154; bill passed, 155; passed

by the Senate with amendments, 536; amendments

assented to, 537.

Order adopted that the State Librarian transfer to
the clerk of the school commissioners of, for the use
of the Public Schools and Academies of said coun-
ty, the desks formerly used by this body and now in
the Hall of the State House, 35.
