14. Capt. Charles Calvert of Annapolis (Prot., Baltimore's cousin), de-
prived of the Lt. Governor's place and com. sole Commissary General by his suc-
cessor, the Hon. Benedict Leonard Calvert, 15 July 1727; dismissed next year for
opposing Lt. Gov. Calvert (Ibid., 1. 28, f. 19; Md. Hist. Mag., III, 312).

15. *Hon. Edward Henry Calvert of Annapolis (Prot. convert, Baltimore's

brother), com. by Proprietary, 19 June 1728 and sworn 11 Feb. 1728/9 (Test. Proc.,

1. 28, f. 312; Md. Gazette, 11 Feb.); died in office, 24 April 1730.

16. *Capt. Charles Calvert, com. again, 9 May 1730 (Test. Proc, 1. 28,
f. 465); died in office, 2 Feb. 1733/4.

17. Benjamin Tasker, Sr. of Annapolis (Prot., mother prob. Cath.; wife's
mother Cath.; son-in-law of Bladen above) and Daniel Dulany, Sr., com. jointly, 5
Feb. 1733/4 (Ibid., 1. 29, f. 361). Tasker resigned, to be Proprietary Agent and
Receiver General, 12 Nov.. 1734.

18. Daniel Dulany, Sr., com. 13 Nov. 1734; recom. 14 Oct. I742 (Ibid., 1.
29, f. 464; Commission Book No. 82, f, 96); died in office, 5 Dec. 1753.

19. Benjamin Tasker, Sr. (who had lately resigned the Proprietary Agency)
and his son-in-law Daniel Dulany, Jr. of Annapolis (Prot.), com. jointly, 15
Aug. 1754; Dulany resigned in Jan. 1756 (Test. Proc., 1. 36, f. 114; Md. Gazette,
11 Jan.).

20. Benjamin Tasker, Sr. remained sole Commissary on Dulany's resignation;
he resigned in favor of his son-in-law, 26 Dec. 1758 (Ibid., 4 Jan, 1759).
