company with Minnie rifles, read first time, 57;
read second time and passed by yeas and nays,

Resolutions to furnish Captain McCoy's com-
pany fifty Minnie rifles and necessary accoutre-
ments, their giving bond, &c, 69; read second
time and passed by yeas and nays, 77.

Resolutions that the, be requested to furnish
Captain John Bond, of the Port Republic Ran-
gers, with sixty Minnie rifles, with the necessary ac-
coutrements, &c., read the first time, 79; read the
second time and passed by yeas and nays, 104.

The committee on Ways and Means to inquire
into the expediency of authorising the, to purchase
arms, 94;

That all officers commanding regiments; and all
officers commanding within the last ten years, see
that arms are in proper order, and also that
all the arms of companies disbanded be collected,
&c, and report to, 99.

commanded by William A. Spencer, a stand of
muskets sufficient to equip said company, &c,
