At this hour, five o'clock, an affray by outside parties, oc-
curred in the outer Hall, disturbing the order of the House;
when
Mr. Jacobs offered the following:
Ordered, That a committee be appointed by the Speaker,
to proceed to an immediate investigation of the circumstances
connected with the affray which has just occurred in the
Hall, and report forthwith to this House;
Which was adopted, and Messrs. Jacobs, Compton and
Briscoe, were appointed said committee.
