The said bill was then returned to the Senate.

Mr. Coudy renewed the motion to suspend the rules to en-
able him to report the bill in reference to the Baltimore and
Ohio Railroad ;

Which was sustained;

When he reported favorably, from the committee on Inter-
nal Improvements, the bill entitled, an act to amend the act
of 1826, chapter 123, entitled, an act to incorporate the Bal-
timore and Ohio Railroad company.

Which was read the first time.
On motion of Mr. Seth,

The rules were suspended to enable him to report favorably
upon the bill entitled, an act to amend the code of public lo-
cal laws, relating to the city of Baltimore, by adding thereto
the following sections;

Which was read the first time.

The Senate bill entitled, an act amendatory of the act enti-
tled, an act to incorporate the Mutual Fire Insurance com-
pany of Baltimore county, passed at December session, 1849,
chapter 213 ;

Was read the second time, and by special order the third
time, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
