On motion of Mr, Turner, of Baltimore city,
The House adjourned at 6½ until 7½ o'clock, P. M.

EVENING SESSION, 7½ o'clock.

The House met pursuant to adjournment. Present at the
call of the roll the following members:

Messrs. Kilbourn, Speaker, Parran, Ford, Worthington,
Denison, of Baltimore county, Quinlan, Renshaw, Jones, of
Talbot, Dennts, of Somerset, Stanford, Lawson, Linthicum,
Keene, Holland, Maxwell, Miller, Bryan, Legg, Landing,
Dennis, of Worcester, Kessler, Routzahn, Bayless, McCoy,
Straughn, Krafft, Seth, McAllister, Smith, Denison, of Balti-
more city, Coudy, Eakle, Brining, Harding, Gordon, Beall,
and McCleary.

On motion of Mr. Morgan,

It was ordered that Mr. Stake be excused from serving on
the select committee to consider the letter of resignation of
Mr. Freaner.

The bill entitled, an act for the relief of Henry M. Fitz-
hugh, administrator of William Fitzhugh, was called up as
the unfinished business of last evening's session;

Said bill being upon its third reading;
On motion of Mr. Briscoe,

It was made the order of the day for to-morrow, at 10½
o'clock, and subordinate to the regular orders of the day.
and give place to them.

Mr. Coudy moved a suspension of the rules to enable him
to report a bill relative to the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad;
On motion of Mr. Ford.
