The rules were suspended, and the House took up for con-
sideration the Senate bill entitled, an act for the relief of the
trustees of the poor-house for Montgomery county.

Which was read the second time, and by special order the

The rules were suspended, and leave was granted the com-
mittee on Ways and Means to bring in a bill in reference to
live stock scales in Baltimore county.

On motion of Mr. Welch,

The rules were suspended, and the House took up for con-
sideration the bill entitled, an act to amend the 82nd section
of article 2 of the code of public local laws, relating to the
salary of the clerk to the county commissioners for Anne
Arundel county ;

The said bill was returned from the Senate with amend-
ments, and the amendments were adopted by yeas and nays
as follow :
