Also, on Senate bill entitled, an act to authorise the State
Treasurer, upon the warrant of the Comptroller to pay over
to Martha A. Lee, administratrix of Judge Z. Collins Lee,
the salary of said Judge, for the quarter ending the first day
of January, eighteen hundred and sixty;

Also, from a select committee, reported favorably on the
bill entitled, an act to change the name of Willy Dalenbert
Gardner, to Willy Dalenbert Carr;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Goldsborough, from a select committee, reported favor-
ably on the bill entitled, an act to designate and assign the
several offices in the new Record Buildings, and to appropriate
certain sums of money to be used in fitting up and furnish-
ing the same;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Krafft, from a select committee, reported a bill entitled,
an act to repeal the 895 and 896 sections of the code of pub-
lic local laws in relation to wharves and wharfage, in Balti-
more city;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Routzahn, from a select committee, reported favorably
on the bill entitled, an act to amend the three hundred and
eleventh section of the eleventh article of the code of public
local laws, relating to the sheriff of Frederick county, and
to conform the same to the provisions of the code of public
general laws;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Gordon, from the committee on the Judiciary, re-
ported favorably on Senate bill entitled, an act to amend the
83d section of the seventy-fourth article of the code of gene-
ral laws, so as to extend the right to sue captains and owners
of vessels, and steamboats in the county where they take in
freight.

On motion of Mr. Briscoe,

The rules were suspended, and the, House took up for con-
sideration the bill entitled, an act to repeal sections 1, 2, 3,
4, 5 and 6 of article 97 of the code of public general laws,
under the title of wild fowl, and to add the following sec-
ions:

Said bill being upon its second reading;

The question being upon the amendment proposed by Mr.
Briscoe;
