The bill entitled, an act to authorise the State's attornies
for Baltimore city, Baltimore county, Anne Arundel county
and Prince George's county, to institute proceedings to for-
feit the charter of the president, managers and company of
the Baltimore and Washington turnpike road ;

Was recommitted to the committee on the Judiciary ;

The bill entitled, an act to confirm and make valid a deed
of mortgage from George A. Hall and Peter Bogert, to Wil-
liam Morrison ;

code of public local laws, by amending the section thereof,
which authorises the levy of tax for the support of schools,
by increasing the rate of said tax, and by amending the
108th section thereof, which gives the school commissioners
power to procure a house for the use of schools, by giving
them power to sell houses and lots purchased for that pur-
pose;
