Mr. Bayless, from a special committee, reported a bill
entitled, an act to add the following section relating to selling
or pedling of carriages, hacks, gigs or buggy wagons, not
manufactured in the State of Maryland, to article 55, of the
code of public general laws ;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the com-
mittee on the Judiciary.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the Senate bill
entitled, an act to appoint Trustees for the Little Falls Meet-
ing House, and the Forrest Meeting House, passed December
11th, 1823;             

Which was read the first time.

Also, the bill entitled, an act to refund to Mary A. Cissell,
widow, Zepheniah Cissell, a certain sum of money ;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the com-
mittee on Claims.

Also, the bill entitled, an act to make valid the bond of
the clerk of the Circuit court for Howard county;

Which was read the first time; and,
On motion of Mr. Brown,

The rules were suspended, the bill read a second and third
time, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
