A bill entitled, an act authorising the commissioner ap-
pointed by the act of 1858, chapter 107, to sell a part of the
almshouse farm in Somerset county ;                   

A bill entitled, an act to make valid the qualification of
James Anderson, Surveyor elected at the late election in
Montgomery county ;                     

A bill entitled, an act to authorise the Register of Wills of
Baltimore county, to allow the original will of James D.
Wolf, to be withdrawn from his office ;                             

A bill entitled, an act to authorise Edward Long, to settle
his account as guardian to John C. Buckley, and to deliver
over the estate to his said ward ;

A bill entitled, an act to change the name of Lucretia
Smithson, of Baltimore county, to Lucretia Bosley ;

Severally endorsed, " passed by yeas and nays."           

A bill entitled, an act to make valid the bond of the Clerk
of the Circuit court for Howard county; which               

On motion of Mr. Brown,                                           

Was referred to a special committee of three, con-
sisting of Messrs. Brown, Turner, of Howard and Harding.

Also, the bill entitled, an act to make valid the qualifica-
tion of Levi Rice, one of the commissioners elected at the late
election in Allegany county;

On motion of Mr. Gordon,

The rules were suspended, and the bill was read a second
time.

Mr. Dennis, of Somerset, moved to recommit it to the com-
mittee on the Judiciary;

Which was lost.

On motion of Mr. Gordon,

The rules were suspended, the bill read a third time, and
passed by yeas and nays as follow:
