WASHINGTON COUNTY--

          Petition from 58 citizens of, asking the passage of

a law to compel the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad

Company to erect a depot at Sandy Hook, in said

county, referred, 317.

Petition of Samuel Pry and 42 other citizens of,
praying that the commissioners of said county be au-
thorized to levy a sum of money to build a bridge
over Little Antietam, on the road leading from Kilt's
bridge and intersecting with the Boonsboro' and
Sharpsburg Turnpike, one quarter of a mile south-
west of Hudgesville, referred, 331.
Petition of 175 citizens of, remonstrating against
the removal of the election polls from Cavetown to
Smithsburg, in said county, referred, 332.

Petition from sundry citizens of, remonstrating

against the exemption from taxation of the Maryland

A bill from the Senate, entitled, an act to autho-
rise the Treasurer to pay to Isaac Nesbit, of, certain
moneys improperly paid by him into the Treasury, as
Clerk of Washington County Court, 548; bill passed
and returned to the Senate, 694.

                Petition of Jos. D. Price and 51 other citizens of,

remonstrating against the passage of a law exempt-
ing the Maryland and Virginia Bridge, in said coun-
