Baltimore city—

Petition of Gen. George H. Stewart and others,
voters in the 18th ward of, praying for a division of
the said ward, referred, 472.

A bill reported, entitled an act to limit the places
for retailing certain articles in the City of Baltimore,
671; bill passed and sent to the Senate, 837; 838;
returned, passed by the Senate, 848.
A bill reported entitled an act to provide for the
removing of sediment from the State's wharf on Pratt
street, in the City of Baltimore, 723; bill passed and
sent to the Senate, 816;

A bill reported, entitled an act to provide for re-

pairing the State's wharf on Frederick street dock,

        Dugan's wharf, the wharf fronting on the water at

     the South end of tobacco warehouses Nos. 1 and 2,

in; also for repaving and repairing the streets in

   front of said warehouses; also for removing the sed-

        iment, 725; bill passed and sept to the Senate, 818;

           819.

            A bill from the Senate entitled an act amendatory

of an act entitled an act for the protection of the

property of the fire companies in the City of Baltimore,

            passed December session, 1837, chapter 190; 770.

BALTIMORE COUNTY.—Resolution authorising the Board of
commissioners of, to have a legal investigation of
the action of the their predecessors, 29.

Resolution culling upon the commissioners ap-

pointed under the act of 1854, chapter 144, to superin-

tend the selection of a suitable lot and erect thereon a

           Court House and Jail, for the use of, for a statement

of the funds expended &c., 29; withdrawn, 56;

resolutions offered in relation to, 56 and 57; commu-

nication in reply, 169.                         

Leave to bring in a bill to amend the act of 1854,

          chapter 144, entitled an act to provide for the erection

         of a Court House and other appropriate buildings in,

          109; bill reported, 43.3.

               A bill reported to authorise the commissioners of,

to levy a tax upon the first election district of, for the
payment of the debt contracted by the commissioners
of public schools, under the act of 132, chapter 287,
