We respectfully request your Honorable body to recede from
your amendment to Bill No. 191, excluding Carroll county from
the provisions of said Bill.

A bill entitled, an act appropriating a sum of money to Wil-
liam Price, Samuel Tyler and Frederick Stone, for services ren-
dered the State as commissioners appointed to revise, simplify,
and abridge the rules of practice, pleadings, forms of convey-
ancing and proceedings of the courts of this State;

Was read the second time.                       

Mr. Bowie moved to amend by striking out in the 5th line of
section 1st, the word "six" and insert "eight." In 6th line of
same section, strike out "three" and insert "four;"
