The bill entitled, an act to authorise the removal of cases from
the Criminal Court of Baltimore city, to the Circuit
Howard and Anne Arundel counties,

The bill entitled, an act making appropriations for the support
of the Government for the year ending on the 1st day of January
1857;

Mr. Dowell moved to strike out in the 70th line the words "to
the purchase of implements for the State Agricultural Chemist,
fifty dollars;"                                                             

Which was assented to.                                         

Mr. Dowell moved to strike out in the 37th and 38th lines, the
words "to the State Agricultural Chemist, two thousand dollars;"

The yeas and nays being demanded appealed as follows:
