supplement thereto; and to authorize the appointment of mana-
gers on the part of the State in said House, and to give to the
Judges of the circuit courts for the several counties of this State,
the power to order minors to be removed to and confined in the
House of Refuge; and to appropriate for the aid, benefit and sup-
port of the House of Refuge, the annual sum of ten thousand dol-
lars for five successive years;

Also, a bill entitled, an act to change the name of Washington
A. D. Ridgaway, of the city of Baltimore, to that of Washington
A. Danskin, jr.;

Also, a bill entitled, an act to cede to the United States the ju-
risdiction of the State of Maryland in, to, and over a part of Hog
Island in the Potomac river;

Also, a bill entitled, an act in favor of the Western Railroad
Company ignoring and waning on the part of the State all cause
of forfeiture by reason of the said company's failure to comply
with any of the provisions of the original act incorporating the
same, passed at January session 1852, chapter 304, and further
amendatory of said original act;

Also, a bill entitled, a supplement to an act relating to the pay-
ment of the Criers and Baliffs of Baltimore city court, passed De-
cember session, 1834, chapter 272;

Also, a bill entitled, an act for the relief of Susan Smallwood,
a free negro woman of the District of Columbia;

Also, a bill entitled, an act appropriating a sum of money for
the use of Nicholas H. Green;

Also, a bill entitled, an act to prevent swine from going at large
in the village of the Head of Sassafras and its vicinity, in Kent
county;

Also a bill entitled, an act for the payment of legal fees due to
Jervis Spencer, for services rendered the State;
