vide for the election of road supervisors in the several counties in
this State, passed at December session 1853, chapter 300;

Mr. Stone offered the following amendments :

In section 1st, line 2, strike out "in this State" and insert
"Charles county;"

In section 2, lines 2 and 3, strike out "in each" and insert
"Charles county;"

In section 3d, in 1st and 2d lines, strike out "the several coun-
ties" and insert "Charles county;"

In section 5th, line 2nd, strike out the word "any" and insert
"Charles county;"
