On motion of Mr. Stewart,

The rules were suspended to enable him to report a bill enti-
tled an act to incorporate the Patapsco Bank of Maryland,

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.                           

On motion of Mr. Howies,                                   

The rules were suspended to enable him to report from the se-
lect committee on a bill entitled an act to authorize the removal
of criminal cases from the Criminal court to the Circuit court of
Anne Arundel and Howard counties;                    

Was read the first time.                                      

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes-
sage:

We respectfully request your honorable body to return to the
Senate the bill entitled, "a supplement to an act to incorporate
the Worcester Railroad Company, passed at January session
1853, chapter 273.

porations.
