A bill entitled, an act to compensate John Cullen for certain
moneys expended by him in execution of the laws for the protec-
tion of oysters in this State;               

Was read.                                   

On motion of Mr. Bowie,                                   

The said bill was postponed to Friday 15th instant.

A bill entitled, an act requiring State's Attorneys for the seve-
ral counties and the city of Baltimore to give bond for all moneys
due the State and received by them, and to make their receipt
valid for the sums received by them;                      

Was read.                                                     

On motion of Mr. Partridge,                    

The said bill was recommitted.                  

A bill entitled, an act amendatory of an act passed January
session 1854, chapter 156, entitled, an act for the relief of the
sureties on the bonds of William Llyes of Thos., former collector
for the third collection district of Prince George's county;
