Which was lost.                      

On motion of Mr. Harris,

The House proceeded with its ordinary business during the ab-
sence of the Doorkeeper.

Mr. Harris moved that the rules be suspended to enable him to
report favorably on a bill entitled, an act relieving the Register of
Wills of St. Mary's county, from the necessity of reporting semi-
annually to the Comptroller of this State the amount of the emolu-
ments of this office;                                                               

Which was read the first time.

A bill entitled, an act to amend an act entitled, an act to incor-
porate the Neptune Mutual Insurance Company of Baltimore:

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol-
lows;
