SENATE BILL No. 657, BY MR. KAUFMAN.
SUBJECT: BILLS OF EXCHANGE AND PROMISSORY
NOTES—LEGAL HOLIDAYS.

Amendment proposed by Mr. Kaufman: "Page 1, Section 9,
line 4 of the printed Bill, strike out the brackets so that the
words 'the twenty-fifth day of March, known as Maryland
Day' shall remain in the printed Bill. " [Which was read
and adopted. ] [Which favorable report was adopted, which
was read the second time and ordered engrossed for a third
reading. ]

Two-thirds of all the Senators voting in the affirmative, the
rules were suspended by yeas and nays as follows, and the
Bill put upon its third reading and final passage:
