PRESENTATION OF PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND
OTHER PAPERS.

The President submitted a protest of the Builders' Exchange
of Baltimore, by Herbert J. West, president, against the pas-
sage of House Bill No. 691, introduced by Mr. Lee, in regard
to the levying of an additional assessment on property sold
for more than the assessment. [Which was read and referred
to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]

Also a protest of the Real Estate Board of Baltimore, by
William Merriken, against House Bill No. 691, introduced by
Mr. Lee, in regard to the levying of an additional assessment
on property sold for more than the assessment. [Which was
