favorably, with amendment,

SENATE BILL No. 86, BY MR. MUDD.
SUBJECT: WILD FOWL—BIRDS AND GAME.

Amendment proposed by Mr. Archer: "Strike out all after
the words 'A Bill' and insert in lieu thereof the following:
'entitled an Act to add a new section to Article 99 of Bagby's
Annotated Code of Public General Laws, title "Wild Fowl—
Birds and Game, " sub-title "Birds and Game, " to follow Sec-
tion 2. 0, to be known as Section 20-A, providing for the propa-
gation, raising or killing of domesticated English or ring-
necked pheasants.

'Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be added to Article 99 of Bagby's
Annotated Code of Public General Laws, title "Wild Fowl—
Birds and Game, " sub-title "Birds and Game, " to follow Sec-
tion 20, to be known as Section 20-A and to read as follows:

'20-A. Nothing in Section 20 of this Article shall prevent
the propagation, raising or killing of domesticated English or
ring-necked pheasants, Avhere the said pheasants are hatched
out and raised on the place where they are killed; provided
that said pheasants shall not be killed on grounds other than
those owned by the breeders thereof, and nothing in this Act
shall permit the following of said pheasants beyond the boun-
