PRESENTATION OF PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND
OTHER PAPERS.

The President submitted a petition of A. W. Steer &

Brother, Baltimore, Maryland, in favor of Senate Bill No.

206, introduced by Senator Norris, providing for a vendor's

lien upon conditional sales of chattels personal. [Which was

read and referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]

Also a petition of the Baltimore Chamber of Commerce, by
James C. Legg, president, in favor of Bill providing for an
appropriation of $40, 000, or so much thereof as may be needed,
for installing new boilers and making necessary repairs to the
Iceboat "Annapolis. " [Which was read and referred to the
Committee on Finance. ]

Also a petition of William F. Broening, State's Attorney's
Office, Court House, Baltimore, Maryland, in favor of an ap-
propriation for the South Baltimore Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat
Hospital. [Which was read and referred to the Committee
on Finance. ]

Also a petition of the enlisted men of the Fourth Regiment,
by James J. Redding, secretary, in favor of the appropriation
for the completion of the Fourth Regiment Armory. [Which
was read and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

Also a petition of Jacob W. Hook, president of the Old
Town National Bank, Baltimore, Maryland, in favor of Senate
Bill No. 576, known as the Tuberculosis Bill. [Which was
read and referred to the Committee on Sanitary Condition of
the State. ]

Also a petition of the honorary and ex-members of the
Fourth Regiment Infantry, signed by Charles E. Hughes, on
account of honorary members, and by James P. Hess, on ac-
count of former active members, in favor of the passage of the
Bill providing for an appropriation to complete the Fourth
Regiment Armory. [Which was read and referred to the
Committee on Finance. ]

Also a petition of sixty officers and men of the Fourth Regi-
ment and Paul M. Burnett, major, Henry S. Barrett, major,
in favor of the Bill making an a appropriation for the comple-
tion of the Fourth Regiment Armory. [Which was read and
referred to the Committee on Finance. ]
