sioners of Prince George's county and the County Commis-
sioners of Prince George's county to issue the bonds of said
county for the purpose of building new schoolhouses in said
county, said bonds to be issued from time to time in their
discretion and in such amounts as they may deem advisable
up to the total aggregate sum of $100, 000, and to authorize
the County Commissioners to levy the necessary amount to pay
the interest on said bonds as issued, and to create a sink-
ing fund for the payment of the same.
'Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That whenever the County School Commissioners
of Prince George's county shall deem it necessary to build
a new schoolhouse in said county costing more than $5, 000,
they may, by resolution naming the proposed location of such
school building and the amount they deem necessary to build
such school, request the County Commissioners of said county
to issue the bonds of said county to pay for the same, and
if the County Commissioners of said county deem it advisable
to issue bonds for such purpose they may, by resolution,
order that the same shall be issued as hereinafter provided,
but the total aggregate amount of bonds issued under the
provisions hereof shall not exceed the sum of f 100, 000, and
when bonds to the amount of $100, 000 shall have been issued
hereunder the authority given under this Act for the issuance
of bonds shall immediately cease.
'Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That when the County
School Commissioners shall receive from the County Commis-
sioners their order as provided for in Section 1 hereof, and
not before, the said County School Commissioners of Prince
George's county shall be authorized to borrow on the en-
dorsement of the County Commissioners of Prince George's
county who are hereby directed to endorse such bonds on the
faith and credit of said county the amount named in the
original, resolution of the School Commissioners and the
order of the County Commissioners and to issue coupon bonds
therefor in denominations of not less than $100, and not more
than f 1, 000 each to be signed by the President of said Board
of County School Commissioners and countersigned by the
County Superintendent of Public Education, with the seal of
said Board attached, and to be registered by the said County
Superintendent of Public Education in a separate book kept
for that purpose, provided that the coupons for the interest
thereof may be authenticated by the engraved lithograph or
printed signatures of the president of said Board and the
