SUBJECT: COLLATERAL INHERITANCE TAX.
on its second reading.

Amendments proposed by Mr. Johnson:

"On first page, line 7, printed Bill, strike out the last word
in said line, which is 'bargain, ' and insert in lien thereof the
word 'bargainer. ' " [Which was read and adopted. ]

"On second page, line 20, printed Bill, strike out the third
and fourth words in said line, which are 'husband, wife. '"
[Which was read and adopted. ]

"On second page, line 21, printed Bill, after the first word
in said line, which is 'child, ' insert the following: 'shall be
subject to the following tax on the clear value of such estate,
money or securities. ' " [Which was read and adopted. ]
