"After the word 'testimony, ' in line 47 of Section 1 of the
printed Bill, add the following: 'provided, however, that in-
stead of appointing the Board for Mothers' Relief of Balti-
more city, as provided in this section, the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore may, in its discretion, devolve the duties
imposed by this Act upon said Board for Mothers' Relief upon
the Supervisors of City Charities of Baltimore city. ' "
