favoring city extension shall be designated by the Mayor of
Baltimore city.

'And said election shall be subject in all respects to the
provisions and limitations of the election laws of the State
of Maryland regulating the election of candidates on the
general tickets at the general elections held in Anne Arun-
del county, and shall also be subject to all the provisions of
the Corrupt Practices Act relating to such elections.

'That the necessary expenses of the election provided for
"by this Act shall be paid by the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore, and the judges, clerks and the sheriff of Anne
Arundel county shall receive compensation fixed by law in
reference to general elections. '"

At 1 o'clock A. M. Mr. Kaufman moved to adjourn. Which
motion was rejected by yeas and nays as follows:

take a recess until 12 o'clock noon. Which motion was re-
jected by yeas and nays as follows:

went into Executive session.

At 3. 15 o'clock A. M. the Senate resumed Legislative busi-
ness.

Whereupon Mr. Frick moved the previous question. Which
motion prevailed by yeas and nays as follows:
