SENATE BILL No. 444, BY MR. JONES.
SUBJECT: TUBERCULOSIS HOSPITAL—MONTGOM-
ERY COUNTY.

Amendments proposed by Committee:

"Amend the title to said Bill by inserting after the words
'a sum of money' and before the words 'for the erection' in line
3 of the title the following words 'out of any funds in the
Treasury of the State of Maryland not otherwise appropri-
ated, ' and after the words 'to levy' and before the words 'for
the same' in the last line of the first clause of the title insert
the words 'an additional sum. ' "

"At the end of Section 5, add the following: 'not exceeding
the sum of $2, 500 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1917,
for the erection of said hospital and the further sums of
$1, 500 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1917, and $1, 500
for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1918, for the maintenance
and support of the same. "

"At the end of Section 3 add the following: 'Provided that
said hospital shall not be located on the Almshouse Farm
or any part thereof, nor on the land commonly known as
'Stormont. '"

"In Section 4, line 2 of the printed Bill, strike out the
figures '$3, 500' and insert in lieu thereof '$2, 500. '"
