SPECIAL ORDER OF THE DAY.

The President laid before the Senate the Special Order,
being the Committee on Judicial Proceedings' report, without
recommendation, on

SENATE BILL No. 135, BY THE PRESIDENT.
SUBJECT: ANNEXATION.

and proposed amendments.

On motion of Mr. Duvall, a call of the Senate was made and
the following members answered to their names:

Archer Chesley Kaufman Parsons
Bennett Duvall Legg Shepherd
The Sergeant-at-Arms was then sent after the absent mem-
bers.

Whereupon Mr. Duvall moved that consideration of the
Bill be indefinitely postponed. [Which was considered, and,
on motion of Mr. Duvall, was made the order of the day for
March 27, at 1 o'clock P. M. ]
