or by reason of any Public General Law of the State of Mary-
land; to grant to and impose upon said corporation all powers,
duties and obligations devolving upon the said Maryland Agri-
cultural College in connection with or by reason of the various
and several Acts of Congress of the United States of America
relating to agricultural colleges and agricultural experiment
stations, and to name and appoint said corporation to receive
all moneys, appropriations and grants, now or hereafter com-
ing to the State of Maryland from the United States Govern-
ment under any Acts of Congress how in force or hereafter to
be passed for the purpose above named; and to vest in said
corporation all the property of the State of Maryland, real,
personal and mixed, now used or operated by or in the pos-
session of the Maryland Agricultural College and the Mary-
land Agricultural Experiment Station at College Park and
elsewhere. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by
yeas and nays"] [Which was read the first time and referred
to the Committee on Agriculture and Labor. ]

Also House Bill No. 275, entitled "An Act providing for the
encouragement of the keeping of honey bees by the suppression
of bee diseases, through inspection and the acquisition and
dissemination of knowledge of bees, under the direction of the
State Board of Agriculture, by adding nine new sections to
Article 48, of the Annotated Code of Maryland, to follow
Section 74 of said Article, and to be known as Sections 74-a?
74-b, 74-c, 74-d, 74-e, 74-f, 74-g, 74-h and 74-i. " [Endorsed:
"Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which
was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Agri-
culture and Labor. ]

Also House Bill No. 251, entitled "An Act to remove Bur-
man avenue from the jurisdiction of the incorporated town
of Capitol Heights, Prince George's county, and denominate
the same as a county road. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time
and passed by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first time
and referred to Senators Holmead, Jones and Johnson. ]

Also House Bill No. 577, entitled "An Act to repeal Section
5 of Article 97 of the Annotated Code of the Public Laws of
Maryland, title 'Weights and Measures, ' as enacted by Chap-
ter 802 of the Acts of 1914 and to re-enact the same with
amendments. " [Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed
by yeas and nays. "] [Which was read the first time and re-
ferred to the Committee on Inspections. ]
