PRESENTATION OF PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND
OTHER PAPERS.

The President submitted a petition of the State College
Club of Baltimore (by William P. Cole, Lewis W. Lake and
J. Marsh Matthews, Committee on Resolutions) in favor of
the passage of all Bills tending to the reorganization of the
Maryland Agricultural College. [Which was read and referred
to the Committee on Finance. ]

Also a petition of the Security Cement and Lime Company
of Baltimore, by Loring A. Coald, against the passage of the
Bill to establish in Southern Maryland a State lime plant.
[Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]

Also a petition of Joel Gutman & Company, 112-122 North
Eutaw street, by Louis Gutman, in favor of the appropriation
for the Hebrew Orphan Asylum, as recommended by the State
Board of Charities. [Which was read and referred to the
Committee on Finance. ]

Also a petition of Baltimore Local No. 19, International
Alliance Theatrical Stage Employes, by M. J. Fitzgerald, re-
cording secretary, protesting against the passage of Senate
Bill No. 335, to license persons engaged in business of instal-
ling wiring and electrical apparatus. [Which was read and
referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]
