ment, and the Bill herewith returned, authorizing thirty days'
advertisement, will be subject to referendum until June 1, "
1916.

At the time this Bill was introduced, we believed that the
shortening of the time for advertising would be advantageous
for a quick sale, but, upon investigation, I do not now be-
lieve that anything will be gained thereby, preferring the
present law requiring sixty days to the Bill hereby vetoed, it
being subject to a possible referendum until June 1, 1916.
