to declare the sanction and consent of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland to the bequest contained in the will of Mary
Loretta Hunter, late of Baltimore city, deceased, to St. Ig-
natius' Roman Catholic Church. " [Which was read the first
time and referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]

By the President: Senate Bill No. 597, entitled "An Act
to amend and enlarge the powers conferred by the Act en-
titled 'An Act to confirm the charter of St. Anthony's Or-
phan Asylum in Baltimore city, incorporated on the tenth
day of April, 1858, under the General Laws of Maryland, and
to enlarge the powers of said corporation, ' passed at the
