INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
By Mr. Duvall: Senate Bill No. 533, entitled "An Act to
repeal Chapter 745 of the Acts of 1914, designated as Section
16, Article 62 of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, entitled 'Marriages. 7 " [Which was read the first time
and referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]
By Mr. Shepherd: Senate Bill No. 534, entitled "An Act
to authorize and require the County Commissioners of Dor-
chester county to issue, bonds to the amount of thirty-five
thousand dollars for the purpose of purchasing land for public
school sites, erecting new public school buildings and repair-
ing, renovating or enlarging old public school buildings in the
town of Cambridge and in Dorchester county, and to levy and
collect a tax upon the assessable property of said county, as
the same shall mature. " [Which was read the first time and
referred to Senators Shepherd, Bennett and Parsons. ]
By Mr. Jones: Senate Bill No. 535, entitled "An Act to
repeal Chapter 786 of the Acts of 1914, as contained in Article
43 of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, entitled
''Health, ' by repealing and re-enacting, with amendments, the
sections of said Article numbered 298 and 302 in Volume 3
of Bagby's Annotated Code of Maryland, containing the Acts
of Assembly of 1912 and 1914; said sections being under the
sub-title 'Osteopathy. ' " [Which was read the first time and
referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. ]
By Mr. Duvall: Senate Bill No. 536, entitled "An Act to
prohibit fishing in the Severn River or any creek, cove, tribu-
tary or inlet thereof, except with hook and line. " [Which
was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Fish and Game. ]
By Mr. Bennett: Senate Bill No. 537, entitled "An Act to
regulate license fees and the operation of motor vehicles to
be used in the public transportation of merchandise or freight,
operating in whole or part beyond the limits of incorporated
towns and cities in the State of Maryland over State roads or
State-aid roads; to provide for the disposition of such fees and
for penalties for the violation of this Act. " [Which was read
the first time and referred to the Committee on Finance. ]
