SUBJECT: BOND ISSUE FOR SEWERAGE SYSTEM
IN HAGERSTOWN—WASHINGTON COUNTY.

Amendments proposed by Mr. Bomberger:

No. 1—"In Section 11 of the Bill strike out all words be-
ginning with the word 'until, ' in line 3, on page 11, down to
and including the word 'election, ' in line 24, on page 12, and
insert in lieu thereof the following:

" 'Unless the same, when submitted as hereinafter provided
to the qualified voters of the city of Hagerstown, at a regular
municipal election, or at a special election held therefor, shall
be approved as hereinafter stated.

" 'After the passage of this Act, the Mayor and Council of
Hagerstown shall, by ordinance or resolution, fix and desig-
nate the date when the said provisions of this Act shall be
submitted to said voters, which date shall be not less than
eight days after the passage of said ordinance or resolution.
The provisions of this Act shall be published in full at least
three times in each of the daily newspapers published and cir-
culated in Hagerstown; the first of said publications to be
not less than ten days before the time of said election. '"

word 'general' and insert in lieu thereof the words 'regular

No. 3—"On page 12, Section 11, in line 36, strike out the
word 'general' and insert in lieu thereof the words 'regular
municipal. '" [Which was read and adopted. ]

No. 4—"On page 13, Section 11, strike out all the words in
line 45, after the word 'at, ' and insert in lieu thereof the word
'any. ? " [Which was read and adopted. ]

No. 5—"On page 13, Section 11, strike out all words after
the word 'city, ' in line 50, down to and including the word
'they, ' in line 54, and insert in lieu thereof the words 'if it. ' "

No. 6—"On page 13, Section 11, strike out the words 'or
other elections, ' after the word 'another, ' in line 57, and before
the word 'submitting, ' in line 58. " [Which was read and

No. 7—"On page 13, Section 11, strike out, in line 58, the
