SUBJECT: MARRIAGES.

Amendments proposed by the Committee: No. 1—"Amend
by striking out in line 8 of Section 5 the words 'the cause of
same. '"

Also No. 2—"Amend by writing after the word 'application'
in line 11, Section 5, the words 'and shall be endorsed upon the
license that may be issued upon such application, ' "

Also No. 3—"Amend by striking out from line 3 of Section
7 the word 'eighteen, ' and insert in lieu thereof the word 'six-
teen. '"

Also No. 4—"Amend by striking out from line 11 of Section
11 all after the word 'State, ' down to and including the word
'State' in line 13 of said section. "

Also No. 5—"Amend by striking out from line 15 of Section
11 all after the word 'sentenced, ' down to and including the
word 'or' in line 16 of said section, and from line 17 the words
'or both. '"

Also No. 6—"Amend by striking out from line 1 in Section
16 the words 'from and after the passage of this Act' and insert
in lieu thereof the words 'from and after the first day of
June, 1916. '"
