On motion of Mr. Warfield it was ordered that Mr. Jones be
excused from today's session on account of important busi-
ness.

On motion of Mr. Bennett it was ordered that Mr. Parsons
be excused from today's session on account of important
business.

On motion of Mr. Bomberger it was ordered that Mr. Joy
be excused from today's session on account of important
business.

By Mr. Chesley: Ordered, That the Superintendent of Pub-
lic Buildings purchase twenty-seven drinking glasses and have
theni placed on a shelf above the water cooler in the Senate
cloak room for the use of the Senators individually. [Which

Supervision of Employes. ]

add a new section to Article 27 of Bagby's Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, as legalized by Chapter 16 of
the Acts of 1914, to follow Section 5, and to be designated
as Section 5-A, title 'Crimes and Punishments, ' new sub-title
'Agents of the Court, Auctioneers and Public Officials. '"
