SENATE BILL No. 588, BY MR. COOPER.

SUBJECT: REFUND RECEIVERS OF GOLDEN GATE
COMPANY MONEY PAID FOR LICENSE.

Amendments proposed by Mr. Cooper:

No. 1—"On page 1, line 1 of the title of the printed Bill,
insert after the word 'to' after the word 'Act, ' the words
'authorize and direct the Treasurer of the State of Maryland
and the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to. ' " [Which
was read and adopted. ]

No. 2—"On page 2, Section 1, line 6 of the printed Bill,
after the word 'of, ' strike out the words 'one hundred and
eighty-four dollars and twenty-five cents ($ 184. 25)' and insert
in lieu thereof the words, 'forty-six dollars and seven cents,
being one-fourth or the proportionate part of the money paid
by the said Golden Gate Company of Baltimore city for said
license and received by the Treasurer of Maryland and the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore city are hereby author-
ized and directed to refund and pay to the said George Keck
and Peter J. Campbell, receivers of the Golden Gate Company
of Baltimore city, the sum of due hundred and thirty-eight
dollars and eighteen cents, being three-fourths or the propor-
tionate part paid by the said Golden Gate Company of Bal-
timore city and received by the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore city. '" [Which was read and adopted. ]

No. 3—"Inclines 3 and 4 of the title of the printed Bill,
strike put all words and figures after the words 'sum of on
line two up to and including the parentheses after the figures
$185. 25 and substitute therefor the following: 'one hundred
eighty-four dollars and twenty-five cents ($184. 25). ' " [Which
was read and adopted. ]

[Which favorable report was adopted, which was read the
second time and ordered printed for a third reading. ]

Also favorably, with amendment,

HOUSE BILL No. 226, BY MR. GIVEN.

SUBJECT: PENSION DISABLED VOLUNTEER FIRE-
MEN, THEIR WIDOWS AND CHILDREN.

Amendment proposed by Mr. Cooper: "Page 2, Section 4,
lines 1 and 2 of the printed Bill, strike out the words 'thirty
six hundred dollars ($3600)' and insert in lieu thereof 'eigh-
teen hundred dollars ($ 1800). '" [Which was read and
adopted. ]

[Which favorable report was adopted, which was read the
second time. ]
