Ocean Beach Protection:
To increase the amount provided by the lan-
guage on page 261 of the Budget Book un-
der this program for the general protection
of ocean beaches in the State from $30,000
to $40,000.

08.01.00.08 Payment of Claims

For the payment to Mr. Ambrose E. Wood of St.
Mary's County for injuries incurred on Feb-
ruary 20,1958 through being struck by a snow
plow operated by Mr. Thomas L. Lacey an
employee of the State Roads Commission.
This payment is contingent upon Mr. Am-
brose E. Wood furnishing a full and complete
release to Mr. Thomas L. Lacey for the
amount of the outstanding judgment against
him as a result of this accident and also con-
tingent upon the passage of House Joint Reso-
lution No. 23.
