06.08.00.04 Scale Adjustments

General Fund Appropriation, for payments re-
quired as a result of re-study and scale ad-
justments pursuant to the provisions of Sec-
tion 27 of Article 64A of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1960 Supple-
ment); the appropriation to be allocated by
budget amendment to the various State agen-
cies as may be necessary to supplement the
agency appropriation for salaries included in
this budget.

General Fund Appropriation........................ 1,365,000

From Special and Federal Funds, for payments
required as a result of re-study and scale
adjustments pursuant to the provisions of Sec-
tion 27 of Article 64A of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1960 Supple-
ment) . Authorization is hereby granted to use
Special and Federal Funds for this purpose,
in the amount of $740,000, to be payable out
of revenues and grants which are the source
of funds for the payment of budget appro-
priations payable out of Special and Federal
Funds; this amount being estimated and it be-
ing the intent that the actual amount, whether
it be more or less, shall be made available in
allocating by budget amendment to the var-
ious State agencies the amounts necessary to
supplement the appropriations for salaries in
this budget.
