the Severn River approximately 8000 feet to a point opposite the
mouth of Saltworks Creek, thence, southwesterly approximately 6500
feet to the tidewater head of Saltworks Creek, thence, North 45°
West approximately 2700 feet to the centerline of Epping Forest
Road, thence, southwesterly following the centerline of Epping For-
est Road approximately 5500 feet to the centerline of Generals High-
way, thence, South 45° West approximately 5300 feet to the City of
Annapolis reservoir dam, thence, by an irregular line in a westerly
direction, 500 feet North of and paralleling the old Defense Highway,
a distance of approximately 13000 feet to the tidewater head of the
South River, following the centerline of the South River approxi-
mately 14,000 feet to the centerline of Granville Creek, thence, South
42° West approximately 2000 feet to a point thence, South 24° West
10 feet 30" West approximately 5100 feet crossing Riva Road to
Beards Creek, thence, following the centerline of Beards Creek ap-
proximately 5000 feet to the centerline of South River, thence, fol-
lowing the centerline of South River approximately 35000 feet to
the Chesapeake Bay at Thomas Point, thence, following the shore-
line Northerly approximately 24000 feet to the place of beginning.
Containing 12,500 acres of land more or less.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby declared
to be an emergency law and necessary for the immediate preserva-
tion of the public health and safety, and being passed by a yea and
nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
of the two houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 509
(House Bill 418)

AN ACT to add new Section 104 (h) to Article 52 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Justices of the Peace",
sub-title "Trail TRIAL Magistrates System", to follow immedi-
ately after Section 104 (g) thereof, prescribing the fee to be paid
by each defendant FOUND GUILTY in any criminal case in the
magistrates courts in Anne Arundel County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 104 (h) be and it is hereby added to Article 52
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Justices
of the Peace", sub-title "Trial Magistrates System", to follow imme-
diately after Section 104 (g) thereof, to read as follows:

104.

(h) In Anne Arundel County, notwithstanding any other pro-
